Each academic year, GPSC offers funding for graduate and professional student conference travel and presentation and professional development, Registered Student Organization (RSO) events, and other RSO and campus organization needs. The Council also annually awards graduate and professional students for their service, teaching, and research and creative activities. Applications for conference travel and presentation, professional development, and RSO funding are open year round. Applications for the research, service, and teaching awards open in the spring and are announced through email to all registered graduate and professional students at SIUC. Please contact GPSC (gpsc@siu.edu) with any questions about funding or the award applications.

**Important Note: All GPSC Funding is closed for this academic year. We are honored to have been able to fund so many graduate and professional students and organizations.**

2023-2024 Academic Year: All applications for GPSC's annual awards opened at 8:00am on January 24, 2024, and closed at 5:00pm on February 23, 2024.

The Fee Allocation Board is one of two committees set by the GPSC constitution. The Board supervises the allocation of funds available to graduate and professional Registered Student Organizations (RSOs). The Board meets on a biweekly basis to hear event funding proposals, collaboratively decide whether to approve such proposals, and how much money to allocate if events are approved. Such decisions are then taken to the next GPSC general meeting where the recommendation is given and a vote on the event funding request is taken by the GPSC representative body.
